Waymaker Agency / The Growth Fix

One clearer handoff.
A plan to see what changes.

A sample of the working document you receive with a Growth Fix.

Illustrative example. This is not a client case study or an achieved result. The observations below are a fictional teaching scenario. Your scope, evidence, and delivered work will be specific to your business.

01 / The agreed problem

An interested lead cannot tell what happens next.

Journey: one service inquiry → first response → booking. In this example, the form confirmation says only “We’ll be in touch.” The first-response template has no booking link or named next step.

Evidence to collect: a test inquiry, the current confirmation and response template, recent qualified inquiries, response timestamps, and completed bookings. Until these are reviewed, “unclear follow-up is the main leak” remains a hypothesis.

02 / The scope

Included

  • Review one inquiry-to-booking path.
  • Improve the existing confirmation and first-response template as one handoff.
  • Add one approved booking step and identify the response owner.
  • Test the updated path with a sample inquiry.
  • Record the delivered copy, locations, checks, and measurement plan.

Separately scoped

  • A new website or CRM.
  • Custom integrations or a new automation platform.
  • A full nurture campaign or additional customer journeys.
  • Ad production, media spend, and ongoing management.

Existing access and tools must support the agreed change. Confirm feasibility before the working session.

03 / Example copy change

Before

“Thanks for your inquiry. We’ll be in touch.”

After · template for approval

“Thanks for asking about [service]. Your next step is a [duration] fit call to discuss [decision]. Choose a time here: [approved booking link]. Prefer email? Reply with your question and [named owner] will help.”

Replace every placeholder with verified details before publishing. Only promise a response time the business can meet.

04 / Delivered-work record

Know what changed and where it lives.

Finished assetsApproved confirmation text and editable first-response template.
Implementation linksRecord the live form, the confirmation setting, and the saved template location. This example contains no real client-system links.
VerificationSubmit a test inquiry. Confirm the message appears, the booking link works on mobile, the correct calendar opens, and the assigned owner receives the inquiry.
HandoffRecord who maintains the template, how to edit it, and how to restore the previous version.

05 / The measurement plan

Watch the next useful action.

Primary metricQualified inquiries that book within 7 days ÷ qualified inquiries with a full 7-day observation window.
BaselineRecord the preceding comparable period, date range, counts, and data source. If those records do not exist, mark the baseline unknown and start collecting it.
GuardrailsReview no-shows, unqualified bookings, and response time so extra bookings do not hide a quality problem.
Review date30 days after the change. Keep source mix and offer changes in view. A small sample or before-and-after change alone does not establish causation.
DecisionKeep, revise, or collect more evidence. Document the reasoning; do not claim a lift from a handful of visits.

06 / Your next steps

  1. Assign the handoff owner and confirm the published copy.
  2. Check the first real inquiries for broken links or confusion.
  3. Review the metric and guardrails on the agreed date.

Your Growth Fix includes 7 days for clarification questions about the delivered work. New implementation is quoted separately.
